We’ve been sponsoring Abubacarr Camara for the last 10 years throughout his secondary school education and now college! 

 

Back in 2019, Abubacarr graduated high school and won our college sponsorship assistance due to his attitude and determination. PIFTA enrolled him on to a Banking and Finance course at MDI college and he is just coming to the end of his 2nd year. On our recent trip in 2021, he gave us another tour of his college, which is a lovely place.

 

Abubacarr is an extremely intelligent chap and loves studying and he works very hard. Following this course he wants to go on to study for his advanced higher national diploma. This will give the best chance of securing a good career and escape from poverty. Abubacarr lives in a small room, the size of a shed, in the garden of his guardian. Personal circumstances meant that he had no parents to take care of him when he was very young and a kind man took him in and gave him a home. We are extremely proud of his achievements and all of his hard work. He is a real success story for PIFTA and we wish him all the luck for the future.
